Attendance: G. Hinman, K. Brumbaugh, D. Bigue, C. Knott, J. Krueger

1. Meeting started with a review of activities during the Spring 2007 Semester.
A. Global Communications Course:
i. Blogging 2-3 times per week using Class Blogmeister as the tool.
ii. Students are working on collaborative papers based on Friedman's "The World is Flat." Students are using 'Google Docs and Spreadsheets and groups are made up of students from both sections of the course, therefore there are students in one group from both the 5th period and 7th period classes.
iii. Emphasis on Three Dimensional Writing - Hypertexting in writing assignments.
B. English Classes:
i. Using 'Citation Machine' to create bibliographies for student papers.
ii. Will be working with teacher blogs to write comments and reviews of ancillary works provided by teachers.
iii. Will be implementing Three Dimensional Writing process through the commenting process on Teacher blogs.
C. Health Classes:
i. Working on coordinating projects with Global Communications course. Family Life Unit emphasis this semester.

2. Warlick Presentation Debrief:
A. All teachers in attendance at the David Warlick presentation in January, felt the experience was valuable and inspired them to implement more information literacy into their curriculum.
B. Two teacher Capuchino Teachers started new Wiki's after this conference and are using them with their classes.
i. American Government Wiki
ii. Senior English Wiki

3. New 'Flat Classroom' Project:
A. The group decided that we needed to reach further outside the Capuchino community to connect with others. A wiki, where we could post pictures of students and their families to show how families around the world are different, yet share many characteristics. The goal of the project is to emphasize that we are truly a 'Global Community' and we should take pride in our diversity, yet find addtional ways to connect with others.
B. Global Families Project
