Guest: Geoff Hinman Skyping in from Italy. 8 hours ahead of us in San Bruno

1) Health Classes are working on Emotional Management Podcasts on their wiki.

2) Students in the Global Communications classes are have started their own blogs using Blogger. Martee has created their own private wiki at: http://globcomm.wetpaint.com. Dominic has a blogging rubric that he will pass along to Martee to use.

3) Jen reporting that students in the English classes are working on their personal narrative, which will be used later in the semester as the script/plan for their autobiographical video/slideshow (Picasa/Photostory). Jen and Martee will also be working on a non-fiction reading/writing unit.

4) Martee will be e-mailing writing rubrics to Geoff in Italy for his use and to create a common writing platform for students as we begin to collaborate during the spring semester.

5) Students in the Global Communications courses at Cap and Geoff's Writing students in Italy will be collaborating on a wiki surrounding the 10 Flatteners from Friedman's "The World Is Flat." The goal is to have the students skype with each other once a month and to collaborate weekly during the spring semester using a common wiki.
